I see these Mini-Mausers for sale the other day in Fleet Farm. They are chambered in .223, and have iron sights with a hooded front sight. Anybody ever have one of these? What did you like/dislike about them? Are they worth the $419? Thanks!

Personally I would avoid a .223 since a lot of the AR's are in that caliber and ammo is hard to find right now.
I tossed the idea of a .223 or a .22-250 for some time and decided on the .22-250 and have been very pleased with mine.
Of course this doesn't answer your question and hopefully someone who owns one will chime in but looks like they have real good reviews from what I have seen.

I think its a nice looking rifle. And the Mauser actions are tried and true.
.223 is coming back now, with factory bulk ammo being available at many places. I personally reload and prefer reloads in a bolt action.
One upside to .223 is when ammo is available it is cheap. I remember a few years ago I could not find 22-250 brass and when I did it was super expensive.
